Anki Extract to TXT

Anki Extract to TXT is an add-on for Anki that allows you to extract your notes and their content into plain text files. This provides a convenient way to export your Anki data for further analysis or sharing (for instance, submitting your cards to ChatGPT to automate the production of new cards).
Please note that this extension supports English language only.

Usage:
Install the extension in Anki.
Open Anki and go to the Tools menu.
Select “Add-ons”, then “Extract to TXT” and “Configuration” to set the output file path.
In the configuration dialog, locate the “01_output_path” key and specify the desired output file path. You can choose from several path examples provided to help you select the appropriate file path. The default path leads to the user’s folder.
Save the configuration settings.
Open Anki’s Browse section.
Select the notes you want to extract.
Right-click on the selected notes and choose “Extract to TXT File” from the context menu (available in the note section).
The selected notes will be extracted and saved in the specified text file.
Note: Please make sure to configure the output file path before using the “Extract to TXT File” option in the Browse section.
