Ensure that you keep monthly and yearly backup, so that you can access to old version of collection if you need it one day.

We should compile and popularize a “security collection” of add-ons and tweaks for Anki. This will be the most important feature. Comment from author You’re free to do that. I’d be interested in knowing which other add-on you think to add there.
I must admit that this is is not a succesfull add-on. Only 56 download. Security is rarely a priority for users
