This add-on allows you to set the font size of the UI in Anki 2.1.x. Go to Tools > Add-ons > Set Font Size > Config then change the value of font_size to the desired size (in pixels). Please restart Anki after installing the add-on for the first time.
This add-on was ported from the Increase Font Size add-on for Anki 2.0.x by Damien Elmes. If you would like to contribute, the source repository is available on GitHub.

For users experiencing issues in Anki 23.10+ (I have 23.12.1), you can try going to the extension’s “init.py” (on Mac it should be at ”~/Library/Application Support/Anki2/addons21/651521808/init.py”) and adding FontSize at line 38:
From: wes.setFontSize(QWebEngineSettings.MinimumFontSize, font_size)
To: wes.setFontSize(QWebEngineSettings.FontSize.MinimumFontSize, font_size)

This is broken. The proper way to downsize or upsize text is: 1: Open Anki. 2: Go to “Tools” > “Manage Note Types” > select the note type > “Cards” > “Styling”. 3: Change font-family to fit your needs. sz 10 is good if the cards look too big, sz 20 is good if you need to make writing bigger.
