Migaku Development Cycles Migaku develops add-ons in 6-month development cycles. For the duration of a development cycle, add-ons are designed for the latest stable version of Anki that was available at the beginning of that cycle. At the end of a development cycle, all Migaku add-ons are upgraded to the latest stable version of Anki. Please note that development of the new updated versions of the add-ons begins at the end of the current cycle, once all Add-ons have been updated the new cycle then begins.
If you have any difficulty updating this add-on then, please follow these Instructions:
- Navigate to Anki’s Tools->Add-ons then disable Migaku Chinese and restart Anki.
- Navigate to Anki’s Tools->Add-ons and click “Check for Updates”, then install the update.
- After the update finishes re-enable Migaku Chinese and restart Anki.

About the Add-on Migaku Vacation seeks to help the user make the SRS a more sustainable and fun part of their lives. It does this by allowing the user to:
- Schedule vacations away from reviews
- Optimize and smooth daily review counts
- Taking a “Sick Day” and pushing all reviews one day into the future
- Catching up slowly on overdue reviews using the “Catch-Up” feature
- Studying cards that will be due in the future using the “Get-Ahead” feature
- Maintain card ease

While I love the ability to smooth out the reviews, the rescheduled cards came out very clumpy, I have streak of NL->TL then a streaks of TL-NL. I’ve disabled it but it might be still worth using for vacations.

QUESTION: I’m using Migaku’s sick day to exonerate myself for 1/2 of my decks, sometimes all of them, once a week. Could this break my Anki?
Before you ask, no, there’s no other way. I have to do keep my enormous amount of reviews for more 6 months. I also have to keep social obligations once a week, without going nuts anticipating reviews.

Amazing add on. I had erratic reviews ranging from 100-700. Thanks to this add on I have 300 nearly every day. You can’t imagine how my life changed with this and how stable it is now!!!!!!

Great addon. Paid for it when it was not published here yet, and it was so much worth the money. One of the best addons available.
I think previous poster is doing a disservice to the addon. They can use versions of other addons that are compatible with .35 . The development cycle is a necessity until they make up a good way of integrating addons inside Anki.

Why does rescheduling always get stuck on 98% (3900/3999)

The “catch-up” feature does not work as promised. Say I have 500 kanji, or some other arbitrarily high number to catch up on because I’ve been busy. I then choose over how many days I would like to try and catch up, for example 14 days. The add-on tells me that I will get 40 or something cards every day until I’ve caught up on all of my reviews. However, after the initial day with those promised 40 reviews, the next day that number is increased to 80 reviews, then 100, then 120, ultimately makin
