This add-on disables the startup dialog box that prompts users to update to the newest version of Anki.
For people who are happy with the functionality of their current version—because if it isn’t broken, don’t fix it.

I am not sure how to reproduce this, but the update just appeared on anki start up (I switched from dark to ligh mode). Comment from author Did you download this prior to 9-14? I noticed this bug before then and updated the add-on afterward to prevent that. So maybe just re-download or update the add-on.
Otherwise, I’m not sure, because it’s working for me.
